Timeliness Harvesting Loss of Rice in Cold Region under Different Mechanical Harvesting Methods

The yield loss during the process of harvesting is a great challenge in rice production. A suitable time and method can help to reduce losses rice, decisions about harvest date have important implications for labor management as well agricultural machinery scheduling. Nonetheless, comprehensive composition timeliness (THL) its changing rules different methods remain poorly understood. objective this study was determine effect mechanical on grain dry matter (GDMTL) (MTL) cold region. To end, field experiment conducted from 45 days after heading (45 DAH) 59 (59 DAH), adopting full-feeding semi-feeding combine harvester (FCH SCH) 2019 2020. results showed that had significant GDMTL four kinds MTL including header (HTL), cleaning (CTL), un-threshed (UTTL), entrainment (ETL, only under FCH). With prolonged date, HTL CTL increased UTTL ETL decreased, which ranged 0.15–0.31%, 0.36–0.67%, 0.72–0.18%, 0.69–0.31%, respectively FCH. For SCH, variation range HTL, CTL, 0.41–0.59%, 0.66–0.98%, 0.64–0.21%, respectively. first then ranging 2.84–0.87%. no but could be large between FCH SCH. In general, optimal period 52 DAH~53 DAH both methods, exhibited highest lowest loss, i.e., 9269.3 kg/hm2 1.70%, respectively, operating mode dates recommended minimize loss. region ensured quality quantity mechanized harvesting, provided reference reasonable allocation harvesters season.
